Meet Dr. Lincoln Baylis

I knew I wanted to go into the medical field from a very young age.  My father was a surgeon and I have 3 brothers that are physicians.  When I was 12 years old, my family moved to a horse farm in Clarkston.  Veterinary medicine was the perfect choice to combine my love for animals and the desire to practice medicine.

After graduating from Clarkston High School, I went 2 years to Oakland University. I then transferred to Michigan State University for the remaining 2 years of undergraduate study. I majored in Zoology. I spent the next 4 years at Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. I spent several years as an associate veterinarian in private practice with veterinarians who have specialized in Ophthalmology, Dermatology and Oncology.

I’ve been in practice for 28 years. I love animals and people. My satisfaction is seeing animals benefiting from advances in veterinary medicine and the joy they bring to their owners.

Other Interests:

I love spending time with my family, my wife, daughter and son and grandson, I like playing piano, doing puzzles and games and reading. Activities that I enjoy include golf, boating, traveling and acting on the drama team at our church. My other interests are music, food, and sports. We are currently in-between pets since losing our Golden Retriever, Emily.

Mission and Focus of the Practice:

Our goal is to treat clients like family and their pets as our own. Golden Rule: Treat others the way you want to be treated. These are words we strive to live by.
